Invitation to Submit Nominations For The 2021 Borštnik Ring Award

The Borštnik Ring Award is given to theatre professionals for an outstanding creative opus in the field of acting in the Republic of Slovenia. The Maribor Theatre Festival awards it yearly, alternately to the actress and actor, at the closing ceremony of the festival. Last year it was received by the actor Peter Boštjančič, while this year's recipient of the Borštnik ring will be an actress.

The nomination for the 2021 Borštnik Ring Award can be submitted by individuals and legal entities in the field of performing arts with permanent residence, or with a registered office in the Republic of Slovenia and SSG Trieste. It can also be submitted by members of the jury for the Borštnik Ring Award.

The nomination must include:

• information about the candidate: name and surname, date of birth, address, telephone (and e-mail);
• information about the nominator: name and surname or official title of the legal entity, contact person, address, telephone (and e-mail);
• expert justification of the nomination (with appendices, such as additional expert opinions, etc.).

The nominations are to be submitted by March 26, 2021 at the latest, to the following e-mail address: info@borstnikovo.si.

A nomination sent by regular mail in a sealed envelope with the caption "Nominations for the 2021 Borštnik Ring Award – not to be opened!" will also be considered and must be sent to the address:
